Tell Us About Your Business/Job/Position:

We make gluten free taste, feel and smell like bread – it’s what real bread should taste like. We believe that just because you’re gluten free, you shouldn’t settle for less.

Now do it in 6 words only please: We make delicious gluten free breads.

If you had an extra 5 hours a week to spend on your business, where would you invest the time?

Non Covid – sampling events.

What is a goal that you have for your business?

Bring back, to all of those in a gluten free diet, the joy of being able to enjoy a delicious meal with their family and friends.

Give Us Your Wisdom

What will you always spend business budget on?

What is a piece of advice that you have received or read that has stuck with you throughout phases of your career?

Don’t overthink. Just do it, otherwise you never get anything done. We spend too much time doubting ourselves.

If you could save readers from one misstep, what would you share?

Before starting a business, test baking your recipes in large batches. It took me 3 months to adapt my recipes to large batches. It’s 3 months of lost revenue.

Do you have an absolute favorite business tool or resource?

Foodbevy – It’s very nice to talk and discuss with other business entrepreneurs.

Connecting Personally

What is your personal favorite quote or life motto?

One day at a time. I feel like we are often overwhelmed and get anxious thinking about everything. We just need to take it one day at a time and we will figure things out.

Is there a pipe dream or bucket list item that you are willing to share?

Bucket list: having everyone on a gluten free diet be able to enjoy Gifted Breads, and for that, I need to be in grocery stores in all states!

What is the most significant/impactful purchase that you have made for under $100?

I would say that the most significant purchase I made was fake tickets for Katy Perry concert, which led me to going to a Bar and meeting my husband.

Do you read or listen to anything on the regular?

NPR Podcasts, “Up First“, “How I Build This,” and “Planet Money.”

What else should we know about you?

I’m always smiling, even with masks. I love to talk and spend time with my family. The biggest challenge for me this year is balancing a start up and time with my baby and husband. There’s nothing that I like more than having breakfast on Saturday morning with my whole family, and of course, our gluten free baguette, or French Dinner roll with eggs benedict is a must!
