About
Prequal exists to create and harness the economic power of women.
We do this by making it easier for women to find each other’s expertise, share insights, and form the connections that lead to real opportunity.
Our work is focused on increasing the likelihood that women do business together, in practical, visible, and measurable ways.
Core Values
Access over gatekeeping

Manifesto
Women own 40% of businesses in this country.
We generate 6% of the revenue.
That is not a gap. That is a system.
And we are here to build a better one.Prequal is a new distribution system of opportunity, exposure, connection, capital, and culture. A place where professional women come to read, to be seen, to find each other, and to do real business together.
We are media.
We are community.
We are directory, newsletter, and stage.
We are every resource that should have existed already. The content you need to grow. The connections that actually move. The exposure your work deserves. The economic outcomes that have been out of reach for too long.
We didn't build another inspirational corner of the internet. We built infrastructure.
Because women don't need more motivation. We need more access, more visibility, and more of our money going to each other.Every story we tell is a redistribution. Every introduction we make is a redistribution. Every dollar directed toward a woman's business is a redistribution.
That is the work. That is Prequal.
Bio
Andrea Mac is the Founder and Lead Growth Strategist of Prequal, with more than 20 years of experience driving client acquisition, revenue growth, and client experience strategy within professional services — particularly the legal and advisory sectors.
She designs and delivers revenue acceleration programs, business development intensives, and sales training initiatives that equip professionals to build predictable pipelines and long-term client relationships. To date, Andrea has worked with more than 200 entrepreneurs, advisors, and firm leaders, helping them translate relationships into measurable economic outcomes.
Through Prequal, she focuses on advancing women’s economic agency by expanding access to revenue strategy, sales systems, and growth infrastructure. Her work emphasizes the multiplier effect of sales skills — increasing access to resources, contracts, and capital that build social capital and long-term market influence.
Andrea holds a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy from Dominican University. She is certified in Women’s Entrepreneurship through Cornell University and in Design Thinking through IDEO. She is an inaugural fellow of the Chicago Leadership Circle with the University of Chicago and Crain’s Chicago Business. Her insights on growth strategy and business development have been featured in Inc., Forbes, Business Insider, MarketingProfs, ABA Journal, National Law Journal, and other industry publications.
She believes revenue generation is not merely a business function, but a lever for economic inclusion — and that when more women control predictable revenue, they expand both autonomy and influence within the markets they serve.
