Ground Rules
For Gets (Making a Request)
Before you submit a Get, ask yourself:
Is my request clear and specific?
Am I asking for one of three things: an introduction, an insight, or an invitation?
If your Get isn’t actionable or easy for someone else to respond to, tighten it up. Clear asks make it easier for the right people to help.
For Gives (Offering Help)
Before you hit send, pause and check:
Is this genuinely helpful to the person asking?
Is it relevant, timely, and accurate?
This is not the place to drop your pitch deck or blindly pitch.
