Building Prequal: How I’m Solving for the No. 1 Question I’m Asked  | Vol. 12

By: Andrea Mac | September 27, 2023

If you can only handle me in small doses:

I just finished: Sales training for one of my favorite clients in Park City. And, yes, I am in the airport finishing this and hitting post and share!

Typically: I travel one to two times a month, but as I have mentioned, I have been in an intense travel season (13 states this month alone.) It’s been busy, and demanding, and awesome. I feel tired and so grateful at the same time.

This means: As a mom and wife, I miss a lot of stuff going on at home. And, presumably, they miss me. To create some excitement and connection to my work, I always bring home the “Do Not Disturb” door hanger for my 7-year-old. And the hotel key card for my 4-year-old. They have quite the collections- which can be fun and a little sad as a hallmark of my time away. When my bigs were little, I would hide small treats around the house and call home with a clue as to where to find the treats. It made the days pass quicker for the kids. #workingparenthacks?

Building Prequal #12: How I’m Solving for the No. 1 Question I’m Asked

I have been in sales for a while now. And people know I'm in sales, so they ask me questions. Much like doctors get unsolicited texts from family members about their weird ailments, I often get questions about sales and selling.

And the number one thing people want to know is this: What should I do next?

That question comes in all different forms, but the intention is the same. People feel stuck. They feel unsure. They need to figure out what to do next because there are often a lot of things they could do.

Sales overwhelm is real.  And time is limited.

I'm more than 20 years into this profession. Over my career, I've learned more than a thing or two about selling. I've developed methodologies and tools that I have tested and seen work with the 1,000+ business owners, service professionals, and sales professionals I've coached over the years. So, when people ask what they should do next, I almost always have a response.

In a previous edition of this newsletter, I talked about my desire for scaling my impact. Impact is how I define success, for me. However, impact is limited if I can only reach individuals through one-on-one conversations.

It's achieved through scale.

And Prequal's newest offering is my way to achieve scale and impact simultaneously. It's a whole system that solves that number one question.

We've named this system Lead to Sales, and it's a few things wrapped into one:

  • It's a sales CRM-type-tool that provides a framework to uncover, categorize, track, and move the needle forward with every opportunity.

  • It's a digital course/resources providing foundational knowledge of how and why my system works, and how to use it.

  • It's a 2.5-workshop with me and my team in a virtual, small group setting. This workshop is where we help attendees put it all together and use my system going forward.

HOWEVER, if I can brag about the actual tool for a moment, that's the real game changer. CRM might not be the best way to describe it. For those of you who have used client relationship management systems before, you know they need to be more proactive. They're focused on tracking and categorizing actions that have already occurred. That's not what this is.

This tool is my first response to tying my methodology to specific actions. It tells you what to do next – analyzing each opportunity in front of you so you know who's a top priority and what you need to do or say next. It's like having an Andrea in your back pocket without all the TMI (or parenting hacks.)

There's a reason I'm telling you about this now.

We've officially launched Lead to Sales today. Doors are open. Our first workshop is happening on Oct. 26, and we're opening it up to the first 25 people who register. And because this is our first one, we're offering Lead to Sales at a steep discount right now.

Learn everything you want to about this system and enroll today all on Prequal's website here: https://theprequal.com/lead-to-sales-training-course

Through this system, I hope to create more impact, quicker. People who I wouldn't have the chance to work with one-on-one can use this system to uncover more opportunities and create reliable, predictable, consistent revenue. This is my life’s purpose

A.

P.S. My network is wide, so even if you're not in the market for Lead To Sales, you might know someone who is. If so, please send this post or give them the link to Lead to Sales and tell them to check it out. I'd appreciate it.
